Unlike some e-bikes the Sonic Urban Fixed Speed Commuter focuses on simplicity. The controls are intentionally basic, because what else do you really need other than power assistance level and battery charge indication? Any other details you might want to record about your urban ride can be far more awesomely done by apps like Strava, than any bike could.
The Sonic Urban takes advantage of the latest in e-bike technology with a lithium-ion 36V 8.8Ah battery. Combined with the brushless motor you can enjoy impressive acceleration, and a range of up to 40km. You can dial in the level that your pedalling efforts are amplified, and so those hills you least look forward to will soon become your favourites. When others are stuck in traffic or trying to find a park, you’ll be rolling in without breaking a sweat.
The Sonic Urban rolls fast on thin hybrid style tyres with a smooth tread which also has sensible grip to provide the assured ride you need on slippery inner-city surfaces. The Urban also has a horn and LED light that provides brilliant path illumination to further complete the package.

We offer Electric products from trusted, world-leading manufacturers, so you can rest assured all products offered by Black Sheep have been tested and certified.
All goods purchased from Black Sheep Trading Ltd are covered by a full manufacturer’s warranty. Warranties cover manufacturing faults and defects. They do not cover damage caused by crashing, abuse, or general wear and tear.

If you feel that any item purchased from Black Sheep Trading Ltd has developed a fault, please contact us before returning goods as many problems may be solved without you incurring freight costs (unfortunately these can not be covered by Black Sheep Trading Ltd).
If your products need to be returned, you must provide proof of purchase, and we ask that returned products are clean. Returned products will be assessed by our Warranty Department, and replacement products will be dispatched once approved. We will contact you in cases that are not deemed to be valid for warranty.

Black Sheep Trading Ltd uses Strait NZ, NZ Post and Go Sweet Spot, to ensure the fastest possible delivery of your goods. We will ship E scooter, Electric Bikes and All related accessories to you as soon as possible. Generally, 1 -3 days delivery nationwide. South Island deliveries are overnight and North island can take a little longer.

- Electric bikes are to be collected from your local Strait NZ depot, this way we can keep costs down.

ASSEMBLY
Scooters come boxed and assembled, Bikes are sent boxed and part-assembled. Bikes require some minor assembly which includes fitting the front wheel, handle bars, rear rack and basket. Scooters and Bikes come with a small tool kit. Bikes also come with a free pump.
Scooters and Bikes need a full charge before the maiden voyage.

SECURITY
Your New Sonic E-Bike or E-Scooter will now come with unique serial numbers stamped into the frame.
We take a record of these numbers so that in the unlikely event of theft we can have much better chance of getting the product back to you. Its important to make a note of this number so that the police can identify the product that is missing.
